• What are your dealing hours?
  Our trading desk is normally open 24 hours a day from Sunday 24.00 to Friday 24.00. Specific trading times for our products can be found in the relevant sections of our web site.

• Can I trade in a different base currency?
  Yes, depending on your account type, many products are available to trade in USD and EUR.

• Does BenchMark Finance advise clients on how to trade?
  No, BenchMark Finance offers a purely execution only service and cannot offer an advisory service.

  Yes, telephone trading is available to all clients.

• What are your trading conditions?
  Our trading conditions for forex, gold and silver, CFDs on stocks, indices and energies can be found in the Tariff.

• What is the minimum trading size?
  The minimum trading size for forex is 0.01 lot (1 lot = 100,000 currency units, 0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units).
  

   

  The minimum trading size for CFDs on stocks and indices is 1 lot (1 lot = 1 share or 1 index). The only expection is Nikkei 225, where the minimum trading size is 100 lots (100 indices).

   

  The minimum trading size for CFDs on WTI and Brent oit is 0.1 lot (1 lot = 1,000 barrels). CFDs on Gas Oil have a minimum trading size of 0.25 lots (1 lot = 100 metric tons).

• Is there a maximum trade size?
  All forex products do not have maximum trading size. Some CFD products have maximum trades, which can be found in the Tariff.

• Are hedging positions allowed?
  Yes, hedging positions are allowed with the BenchMark MetaTrader platform. Moreover, no margin is required when you hold opposite positions.

Technical FAQs

• I did not receive an username and password for my demo account. What should I do?
  Please check whether you have a firewall or proxy server, which might be blocking port 443 (especially if you trade on an office network). 

  If the network is behind a proxy server, please open menu "Tools --> Options -->Server", check "Enable proxy server" and press the "Proxy" button. Fill in your proxy's details. If you do not know them, please contact your network administrator.

• How to log on in my account?
  Start BenchMark MetaTrader from the icon on your desktop. Open menu "File --> Login". In the drop-down menu "Server" you can see the names of both the demo and real server. To log on in your live account, please select BenchMark-Live. For demo accounts, please select BenchMark-Demo.

• How to add all possible instruments in "Market Watch"?
  Please, right-click anywhere on the "Market Watch" panel and select "Show All Symbols" from the menu.

• What OS support the MT4 platform?
  BenchMark MetaTrader is only available for Windows based applications.

Demo account

• How long will my demo account be active?
  Your demo account will be active for a period of 30 days.

• What's the difference between demo and real accounts?
  All demo and real accounts have the same functionality. The main difference is demo trading does not incur real financial risk. Furthermore, all trades on the demo are processed automatically, while on the real server some trades might be confirmed by a dealer.

• What's the minimum amount to open an account?
  There is no minimum amount to open a live account.

• Can I open live accounts in different currencies?
  Yes. You can open as many live account as you with, in one or more base currencies (EUR or USD).

• Can I open subaccounts to existing accounts?
  You can have as many live accounts as you with, however it's impossible to open a subaccount to an existing live accounts.

• How can I withdraw money from my account?

• Are there fees when I deposit or withdraw funds?
  No, BenchMark Finance does not impose fees on deposits and withdrawals. Please note, that banks may impose such or similar fees.

• Can I withdraw funds while I have open positions?
  Yes. You can withdrawl all funds listed as "Free margin" in BenchMark MetaTrader.

• How can I deposit funds in my account?

• In what currencies can I fund my account?
  You can deposit funds in BGN, USD or EUR. If the currency of the account differs from the currency of the deposit, BenchMark Finance will exchange the amount of the deposit according to the prevailing exchange rates.

• Will you close my account if its value drops to zero?
  No, the account will not be closed. Though it could be temporary disabled, until you deposit enough funds to trade.

• Does BenchMark Finance deduct any taxes from my profits/account?
  No. For consulations on tax related matters, please seek the advice of a tax professional.

• What mobile devices can I use to trade?
  BenchMark MT4 iTrader

  The BenchMark MT4 iTrader trading platform allows you to trade through mobile devices with iOS operating system - iPhone, iPod touch and iPad (version 3.0 and higher).

Platform

• Where can I see the history of all my trades?
  Please launch BenchMark MetaTrader and open module "Terminal" (the module can also be access by the hotkey combination "Ctrl+T"). In "Terminal", please open the "Account History" tab. Right-click anywhere in the table. Choose the period for which you would like to see your trading history. You can export the data in HTML format.
